Electrical Engineer III
(M/F/D)*Electrical Engineer III is a senior level position in the TGW Controls Engineering Department. Electrical Engineer III will utilize engineering tools and processes in the planning, design, engineering, and implementation of the controls engineering for customer orders according to scope, budget, and schedule.

What you’ll be handling
- Technical Lead for a team of electrical engineers on large projects.
- Provide technical support to sales, applications engineering, project engineering, etc.
- Support internal training of related engineering tools and processes.
- Create and maintain controls engineering documentation – including sensor/actuator layouts and associated engineering and electrical installation reports, controls component order lists, electrical drawings and associated reports – on new projects and/or retrofit/upgrade projects, either independently, or as part of a team.
- Create and maintain documentation for integrated safety and network engineering.
- Specification, clarification and documentation of controls interfaces to equipment supplied by third-parties.
What you’ll need
- Bachelor’s degree in a controls related field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science) preferred, or associates degree and equivalent experience.
- Several years’ applicable experience in an industrial environment that includes design, debug, startup and production-cut in of warehouse controls equipment.
- Demonstrated experience working on full design to production project lifecycles.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff.
- Willingness to travel up ~20-30% of the time domestically and internationally.
