Sales Engineer – Distributor Business Unit (M/F/D)*
As a Sales Engineer – Plant Planning, you will become part of our international sales team and make a significant contribution to the creation of tailor-made intralogistics solutions for our worldwide customers. Through a targeted training program and a personal mentor, you will be optimally prepared for your role. Supported by your colleagues in the sales team, you will take on more responsibility step by step and learn to implement your tasks independently and responsibly. We are looking for HTL and university graduates as well as experienced technicians who want to develop further in a dynamic environment of intralogistics.
What you'll be handling:
- Development of plant layouts and calculation of the necessary production costs
- Project planning and technical design of mechatronic plant components as well as calculation of materials, control software and services
- Cooperation with the DBU sales team and the key account managers for the efficient and timely development of customer projects
- Conducting customer meetings and presenting layout and technical solutions
- Support in the implementation of projects and ensuring a high quality of support
What you'll need:
- Completed technical education (technical school, technical college, university of applied sciences, university) and strong technical interest
- CAD (preferably AutoCAD) and MS Office knowledge is desirable
- Reliability, solution-orientation, good English skills and self-organization
- Team player with a high degree of willingness to learn and strong communication skills
- Customer orientation and the desire to work independently in an international environment
- Willingness to continuously develop in line with TGW's philosophy of "Learning and Growing"
