Application Specialist for the area of CAD / CAE
Full- or part time from 30h
In your role as an application specialist, you will be a driving technical force for layouting at TGW and make a significant contribution to the optimization and further development of our application landscape. Become part of an innovative team that relies on state-of-the-art technologies and works with you to shape the TGW of tomorrow.
What you'll be handling:
- Application support: Responsibility for applications such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, Solidworks and PDM and their APIs
- Support & optimization: Support of key users, processing of 2nd level tickets as well as the optimization and strategic development of existing tools and processes
- Project implementation: Implementation of lifecycle projects, identification and realization of optimization potentials, as well as collaboration on architecture decisions in coordination with other teams
- Process management: Ensuring the maintenance, operation and documentation of all relevant applications
- Scripting & automation: If interested, development and maintenance of small scripts to improve processes
What you'll need:
- Completed technical education (HTL, FH, or similar) with a focus on IT, engineering or a related field
- Very good knowledge of AutoCAD Mechanical
- Knowledge of related applications (e.g. Solidworks and EPLAN) and APIs (e.g. ERP or SQL)
- Experience with ITIL-supported SUPPORT processes and project management is an advantage
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with business managers and key users
- Structured, organized way of working and the ability to analyze and prioritize requirements
- Openness to new topics and a confident manner towards internal and external partners
- Ability to drive topics forward independently and organize your own day-to-day work
- Very good spoken and written English
