A work environment with state-of-the-art equipment offers our trainees and employees the necessary space for individual development (you will be issued your own laptop for the training). This also helps us create a pleasant atmosphere conducive to working together in agile teams.

Machine and facility design

Duration: 3.5 years | Training location: Rohrdorf | Vocational school in: Wasserburg am Inn

WHAT CHARACTERISES YOU:

WHAT CHARACTERISES YOUR TRAINING:

  • comprehensive basic training
  • contact persons in the specialist departments provide you with practical training
  • you will accompany an idea on its entire journey from the first draft to the finished CAD layout
  • in the team you will learn how individual pieces are put together to create a whole and thus give rise to a finished product
  • you will carry responsibility in trainee projects and demonstrate your ability to work in a team
  • you will work in a professional and technical environment

AFTER YOUR TRAINING:

for Operating Technology

Duration: 3.5 years | Training location: Rohrdorf or Teunz | Vocational school in: Rosenheim or Schwandorf

WHAT CHARACTERISES YOUR TRAINING:

  • comprehensive basic training in the training workshop during the 1st year of apprenticeship

AFTER YOUR TRAINING:

  • you will be accepted into an employment relationship and can get started as an expert in your field at TGW

for Application Development

Duration: 3 years | Training location: Teunz | Vocational school in: Wiesau

WHAT CHARACTERISES YOU:

WHAT CHARACTERISES YOUR TRAINING:

  • you will learn how to handle software systems, databases and the programming language Java
  • practice-based work and contributing to customer projects

AFTER YOUR TRAINING:

  • you will participate in shaping the future of a modern and innovative industry

Duration: 3.5 years | Training location: Rohrdorf | Vocational school in: Munich

WHAT CHARACTERISES YOUR TRAINING:

  • comprehensive basic training

  • you will program control systems
  • you will carry responsibility in trainee projects and demonstrate your ability to work in a team
  • you will assemble mechatronic components; once you are of age, you can gain experience on installation sites across Europe

What are the next steps after we have received your application?

We would like to get to know you in a personal meeting and find out more about what motivates you to pursue the skilled trade you have chosen. This meeting also serves to provide more details about the content and course of the training as well as to answer any open questions. In addition, a vocational test will provide basic insights about how well-suited you are for the skilled trade in question.

Depending on the TGW location, you can either spend a trial day on the job or take a tour of the company after your interview. You can watch our trainees carry out their duties in person and get a first impression of TGW and of your future tasks. This will make it easier for you to decide whether your chosen skilled trade and TGW as a company are right for you.

Now we face the difficult task of making the final selection and will let you know as soon as possible whether you have been accepted. Following acceptance, all new TGW trainees will receive multiple copies of a signed training contract in a timely manner. During the time leading up to your training, we will continue to provide you with lots of information to help ensure that your training with us gets off to a good start.

The time has now come—welcome to TGW! Training always begins on the first business day in September with a welcome event designed to help the trainees get to know each other and the team of trainers. Information about TGW and about the organisational setup of the first few days of work round out the event and will help ease the start of your training.
