Application Process
If you have made a decision on your apprenticeship, apply online now.
You will need the following documents:
- Covering letter (with complete contact information)
- Curriculum vitae
- Your school reports from the 8th and 9th school grade
What are the next steps after we have received your application? The workflow for our international TGW units can vary from this.
You can watch us do our duties in person and get a more concrete idea of your future tasks. Depending on the job description, you will experience a day either in the training workshop or in a specialist department. You will get to know the team of trainers and will get the chance to compare notes with our other apprentices.
After the shadowing period, what awaits you will be a few questions about TGW, general knowledge, German, English, maths as well as a few questions from the respective specialist department.
Here, we would like to get to know you more and get a better idea of your motivation for the apprenticeship. Of course, you will also get detailed information on the curriculum for your apprenticeship training, and we will clarify any questions that may still be open.
At this point, we have the agony of needing to make a choice. We will try to inform you as soon as possible (usually within two to three weeks) whether we have chosen you as an entry-level employee at TGW.
Like all TGW apprentices, you will receive several versions of the signed training contract before the start of the apprenticeship. They will arrive in your letterbox in a timely manner – a few days before you start.
The time has now come – welcome to TGW. Your apprenticeship training with us always begins on the first work day of September. Your first day at TGW includes a welcome event.
