Physical activity and outdoor meetings are the perfect contrast to everyday office work. The TGW Activity Garden in Marchtrenk makes that unique combination possible. The 9,000 m² outdoor space includes an area for playing football and basketball, a fitness pavilion, a giant Motorikpark®, a running track, barbecue areas and outdoor office pavilions for work in teams. TGW employees can use the Activity Garden during both work and their free time, with colleagues or with their families.

You will need the following documents

  • Covering letter (with complete contact information)
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Your school reports from the 8th and 9th school grade

What are the next steps after we have received your application? The workflow for our international TGW units can vary from this.

You can watch us do our duties in person and get a more concrete idea of your future tasks. Depending on the job description, you will experience a day either in the training workshop or in a specialist department. You will get to know the team of trainers and will get the chance to compare notes with our other apprentices.

After the shadowing period, what awaits you will be a few questions about TGW, general knowledge, German, English, maths as well as a few questions from the respective specialist department.

Here, we would like to get to know you more and get a better idea of your motivation for the apprenticeship. Of course, you will also get detailed information on the curriculum for your apprenticeship training, and we will clarify any questions that may still be open.

At this point, we have the agony of needing to make a choice. We will try to inform you as soon as possible (usually within two to three weeks) whether we have chosen you as an entry-level employee at TGW.

Like all TGW apprentices, you will receive several versions of the signed training contract before the start of the apprenticeship. They will arrive in your letterbox in a timely manner – a few days before you start.

The time has now come – welcome to TGW. Your apprenticeship training with us always begins on the first work day of September. Your first day at TGW includes a welcome event.
