What you'll be handling:

  • Design, develop, and maintain software using established tools and frameworks such as ASP.NET, C# (WPF, EF, WCF), SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, XML, and XSD.

  • Enhance and extend existing systems by analysing business requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing new features across TGW’s Warehouse Control and Transport Services applications.

  • Ensure software quality by creating technical specifications, developing and unit testing production-level code, and participating in structured testing processes.

  • Support existing applications by identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting software defects.

  • Collaborate within project teams to meet delivery milestones, contribute to software deployment, and assist with implementation and testing on customer sites.

  • Continuously grow technical expertise by exploring new technologies and supporting onsite commissioning activities for up to 3–6 months per year.

What you'll need:

A relevant degree in IT, Computing, or Software Engineering 

Knowledge of object-oriented programming

Attitude to expand the knowledge base and skill set

Ability to work well as part of a team

Strong communication skills and customer focus

Good time/task management

Ability to travel regularly throughout the UK and Europe
