What you'll be handling:
Design, develop, and maintain software using established tools and frameworks such as ASP.NET, C# (WPF, EF, WCF), SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, XML, and XSD.
Enhance and extend existing systems by analysing business requirements, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing new features across TGW’s Warehouse Control and Transport Services applications.
Ensure software quality by creating technical specifications, developing and unit testing production-level code, and participating in structured testing processes.
Support existing applications by identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting software defects.
Collaborate within project teams to meet delivery milestones, contribute to software deployment, and assist with implementation and testing on customer sites.
Continuously grow technical expertise by exploring new technologies and supporting onsite commissioning activities for up to 3–6 months per year.
What you'll need:
A relevant degree in IT, Computing, or Software Engineering
Knowledge of object-oriented programming
Attitude to expand the knowledge base and skill set
Ability to work well as part of a team
Strong communication skills and customer focus
Good time/task management
Ability to travel regularly throughout the UK and Europe
