As a supply chain professional, have you ever wished you could pick the brains of your peers from other companies? At our exclusive semi-annual Campfire Talk events in the U.S., this is exactly what we set out to do: bringing together like-minded people to explore a customer site, share experiences, and discuss pressing topics.
A great analogy for the feeling we want to capture at these one-day events is that of a campfire. Campfires are warm and inviting. They’re where you feel open to share tales of personal adventure and where you build a sense of camaraderie with those around you. This is what we capture with our Campfire Talk events. We facilitate meaningful discussions in a low-pressure setting among fellow supply chain pioneers, creating a sense of community with anyone who attends.
Our latest Campfire Talk was graciously hosted by Gap at their Gallatin, TN warehouse. In the morning, we learned about Gap’s automation journey and then walked their facility to witness firsthand how both TGW Logistics’ and other’s innovative solutions are working together to transform Gap’s operations. A big thanks to Gap for giving us an amazing peek behind the curtains to see how they are able to achieve high efficiency and productivity.
In the afternoon, we held interactive discussions on key considerations for warehouse automation, options for funding supply chain projects, supply chain trends, and digital twins. These sessions provided valuable insights for all into the current state of the supply chain industry and where it’s heading.
Afterwards, we took everyone out for dinner in downtown Nashville. As the sun set, we were treated to the stunning backdrop of a bustling Broadway Street.
