Our Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team is expanding! Due to the growth of TGW Systems, we are looking for an experienced Environment, Health & Safety Advisor (MVK) who likes to travel. Besides travelling to different locations, you also enjoy time with your colleagues to go through the day-to-day business activities in a great office environment. Your passion lies in technical environments where, as an innovative EHS Advisor, you will provide hands-on support to our Lifetime Services sites, Retrofit and Realisation projects. Your character stands out for your solution thinking and strong communication skills that will allow you to further put EHS on the map within our Northern hub. WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

  • You provide expert EHS advice both on-site and remotely across the Northern Europe region
  • You mentor and coach site personnel to promote accountability and shared ownership of EHS
  • You undertake prompt and thorough incident investigations, ensuring the identification of root causes and compliance with company and legal reporting obligations
  • You conduct audits and inspections to ensure the EHS Management System is implemented and compliant with legal and other requirements
  • You support the development of task specific risk assessments, including chemical and equipment evaluations and review of contractor submissions at site level
  • You support project and site managers with the creation and implementation of EHS plans for construction projects, LTS sites, and TGW owned facilities
  • You proactively analyse data for trends, and support actions that drive continuous improvement in the performance of the TGW EHS Management System
  • You support EHS committee meetings and working groups such as Health and Wellbeing.

What you'll need

  • You have a MBO-4 MVK diploma or higher and have good knowledge on Dutch legislation and experience in the engineering industry or automatisation
  • You have environmental and sustainability awareness
  • You have experience in audits, investigations and effective problem solving
  • You have a great understanding of ISO management system standards applicable to EHS
  • You are flexible to travel extensively and respond with timely EHS support across Northern Europe
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn online company EHS related systems
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages and excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills
