WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

Design and Feasibility: Review operational feasibility, ensure compliance with BS/EN standards, and prepare system layouts, GAs, and detailed design specifications
Value Engineering and Cost Management: Identify added value and cost-saving opportunities, monitor project budgets, and ensure efficient use of TGW equipment
Technical Oversight: Conduct technical reviews, and risk assessments, and ensure equipment standardisation and adherence to legislation
Collaboration and Leadership: Lead design and project engineering efforts, supervise team members, and collaborate across departments to drive continuous improvement.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Provide technical sales support, participate in customer meetings, and represent TGW professionally in line with cultural values.
Documentation and Compliance: Prepare technical documentation, H&S files, ITTs, and tender analyses, and manage project documentation to ensure compliance with regulations.

What you'll need

Significant experience in a similar role, preferably within a Materials Handling environment.
Minimum HNC qualification in Engineering or equivalent
Proficient in using CAD software with extensive hands-on experience
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Project
Solid understanding of cost management and budgeting principles
Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to follow precise and structured methodologies
