Resident Engineer - Burton Latimer

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician looking for your next opportunity or the chance to work with new technology and develop your career? We currently have vacancies at one of our sites where you would be part of the team responsible for the maintenance and servicing of an automated system we have installed at our customers distribution center in Burton Latimer, Kettering. This role is working on a 12 hour days and nights rotating shift pattern.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification
Reactive and Preventative maintenance activities of TGW and third party products installed on site
Support the automation to operate at its maximum efficiency ensuring that the customers’ orders are not missed
Attend customer meetings providing any updates on the automation
Suggest any continuous improvement activities that will increase the reliability of TGW and third party assets on site.
Drive any continuous improvement activities that benefit reliability.

What you'll need

NVQ level 3 BTEC ONC/HNC Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar
Previous Experience of working in an operational engineering role within a similar environment
Proficient communication skills and customer focused
Able to work flexible shift patterns
Demonstrated ability for solving problems
