Sales Project Manager Retrofit - Scandinavia
The Sales Project Manager plays a key role in the sales management of Retrofit projects, either with existing customers or newly acquired ones. It is also expected that you will be supporting the Head of Sales in developing a Business Development strategy to identify and approach potential customers; particularly those with a potential for modernisations.
The role of the Sales Project Manager is to smoothly manage a response to a Request for Quotation from our customers and the bidding activity on internally created enquiries / opportunities and ensure that the solution proposed is complete and appropriate for the customers’ needs.
The Sales Project Manager assesses what information is required to coordinate the response material from all parties involved (including sub-contractors and joint partners), and ensures that the completed proposals put forward the best possible response in terms of completeness, appropriateness. Demonstrating the best added value options to our customers.
What you'll be handling:
- You will lead and support Retrofit lead generation and forge, develop and maintain relationships with new and pre-existing customers
- You understand & develop sales strategies for navigating complex decision making processes and prepare accurate costings for potential Retrofit project customers
- You ensure that all processes are followed and CRM is kept up to date, agreeing the timescales, costs and resources needed
- You have a good understanding of the Request for Quotation and will decide on timelines and responsibilities with the assistance of the Heads of Sales and Solutions.
- You obtain feedback from Customers when tenders are unsuccessful in order to improve in future activities
- You will adopt and promote TGW’s culture and value set
What you'll need:
- You have several years’ experience in a similar position (solutions design, engineering or pre-sales/sales background)
- You have demonstrated ability to lead the project tendering process
- You are able to develop and nurture new and pre-existing customer relationships and have excellent attention to detail and presentation skills
- You are experienced in managing multiple project bids simultaneously
- You have strong stakeholder management experience and sales negotiation skills
- You have a good command of the Swedish language
