Software Controls Developer (M/F/D)*
Develop the future of smart control technology!
In this position, you will strengthen our product development team in the Software Controls Development department and work passionately on control technology to creatively solve complex technical challenges. Become part of our internationally successful company and actively shape the PLC software landscape for warehouse and conveyor technology. Use your expertise in electrical engineering, mechatronics or automation technology to develop innovative solutions and play a decisive role in shaping the future of our products.
What you'll be handling:
- Analysis of requirements and problems to develop efficient solutions
- Creation of automation concepts in mechatronics
- Detailed specification of functions and their documentation
- Development and testing based on specified test cases, as well as integration into TGW Logistics' toolchain
- Product improvement, maintenance, and continuous optimization
- Responsibility for the product quality of the software
- Commissioning, testing of prototype software, and support in the test field, on-site at the plant or remotely
What you'll need:
- Completed education (at least at high school diploma level) in the fields of Computer Science, IT, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or similar
- Experience in software development for control technology, especially with Siemens TIA Portal and in-depth knowledge of SCL, AWL, KOP, and FUP, as well as Simatic Manager
- Strong analytical skills, creativity, and results orientation
- Good command of German and English, both spoken and written
- Strong ability in troubleshooting and problem resolution, with a focus on holistic optimization and sustainable solutions
