Join our dynamic and driven team as a full-time Technical Purchaser based in the Netherlands.
In this role, you will take ownership of key parts of the purchasing process, identifying and managing suppliers that offer the optimal balance between cost, quality, and reliability. You are someone who thrives on building strong, long-term relationships with vendors. With your skills in negotiation, you’ll help ensure smooth deliveries for the Northern European hub of TGW, while keeping the Group's global Purchasing strategy in mind.
As a proactive team member, you’ll contribute to a variety of projects, initiatives, and sales opportunities, bringing your expertise to help optimize processes and create added value across the organization. Your experience and insight will play a vital role in driving both team performance and business success.

What you'll be handling:
- You ensure security of supply and timely delivery while meeting quality standards
- You support Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and contract management tasks
- You select and evaluate new and existing suppliers in terms of quality, documentation, delivery times, and costs, supporting the TGW Group
- You analyse data to help develop procurement and negotiation strategies that identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce risks
- You support in tendering, creating new contracts, reviewing quotes, and helping improve existing tender processes
- You are the point of contact between the local unit and international Strategic Purchasing Agents for assigned material groups/projects, helping align the supply chain with TGW’s global strategy
- You track suppliers' compliance with Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) like delivery times, quality, supply security, and supplier dependency
- You record and monitor progress towards achieving both operational and strategic objectives while ensuring the quality of master data in the system
What you'll need:
- You have a bachelor diploma preferrable related to purchasing and have experience in an international technical procurement environment
- You are comfortable working with costs and budget requirements
- You have negotiation skills and understanding of risk management
- You have notion of contract management, strategic sourcing and supplier management
- You are a team player who is honest, flexible, and open-minded with a solutions-focused approach
- You are able to build and maintain internal and external relationships effectively
- You have good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English
- You live in the surroundings of Breda
