Application Specialist for the area of CAD / CAE

Full- or part time from 30h

In your role as an application specialist, you will be a driving technical force for layouting at TGW and make a significant contribution to the optimization and further development of our application landscape. What you'll be handling:

  • Application support: Responsibility for applications such as AutoCAD, EPLAN, Solidworks and PDM and their APIs
  • Support & optimization: Support of key users, processing of 2nd level tickets as well as the optimization and strategic development of existing tools and processes
  • Project implementation: Implementation of lifecycle projects, identification and realization of optimization potentials, as well as collaboration on architecture decisions in coordination with other teams
  • Process management: Ensuring the maintenance, operation and documentation of all relevant applications
  • Scripting & automation: If interested, development and maintenance of small scripts to improve processes

What you'll need:

  • Completed technical education (HTL, FH, or similar) with a focus on IT, engineering or a related field
  • Very good knowledge of AutoCAD Mechanical
  • Knowledge of related applications (e.g. Solidworks and EPLAN) and APIs (e.g. ERP or SQL)
  • Experience with ITIL-supported SUPPORT processes and project management is an advantage
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with business managers and key users
  • Structured, organized way of working and the ability to analyze and prioritize requirements
  • Openness to new topics and a confident manner towards internal and external partners
  • Ability to drive topics forward independently and organize your own day-to-day work
  • Very good spoken and written English

We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 46.615 Euro
