Head of Shared Services Center in Product Development
TGW is a leading international provider of intralogistics solutions headquartered in Austria. With our strong focus on innovation and research, we want to further strengthen our research and development activities and offer a leadership position as Head of Shared Services Center for an experienced and motivated personality.In this responsible management position in the field of mechatronic product development/R&D at TGW Logistics, you will be responsible for a team of around 20 employees. These are divided into smaller teams from different specialist domains.

What you'll be handling:
- Management and further development of the Shared Services Center department in the area of R&D (Test Engineering, SW Tool Development, IoT Development, Acoustic/Safety & Regulatory as well as Agile Coaching)
- Direct management of the Test & Validation Engineering department and establishment of a team leader
- Optimisation and standardisation of processes and services, ensuring high service quality and taking on project management tasks
- Leading and motivating the multidisciplinary team of subject matter experts and engineers
- Close cooperation with relevant stakeholders, division management and product management
- Representation of the department in the management circle as well as cooperation in the design of the entire product development
What you'll need:
- Completed technical higher education in the field of engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, software development or similar
- 5-10 years of technical professional experience, e.g. in project management or development, as well as relevant sound leadership experience of larger teams
- Very good knowledge of mechatronic product development processes as well as technical understanding of related disciplines
- Open, proactive and communicative personality with strong leadership skills and hands-on mentality
- Entrepreneurial and value-oriented thinking and acting, a high degree of independence as well as planning and organizational skills
In this position, you can expect the following benefits, among others.
We offer an attractive salary in line with the market, which can be above the collective agreement depending on qualifications and experience. The minimum gross basic salary based on full-time employment per year is 67.550 Euro
