LTS Applications Engineer

• Design and creation of the mechatronic material handling layouts through collaboration with LTS Retrofit Team, from initial concept to final contract design, using the TGW product portfolio and 3rd party equipment.
• Understand customer specifications and requirements of the material handling systems that comprise project scope.
• Design and development of replacement hardware and redesign existing systems to fulfill modernization needs of customers.
• Design and development of expansion projects for existing systems.
• Use engineering knowledge to perform performance calculations for the system to ensure that the selected equipment meets the specified target rates.
• Create mechanical costing quotation for both high level concept indications and final contract value to be rolled up into a total system pricing.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred
• Applications engineering experience in materials handling environment preferred
• Proficient in Excel, MSWord, PowerPoint
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D), Sketchup or other 3D Design Software
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 15-25% for training and customer support
