Project Manager - Distributor Business Unit

(M/F/D)*

As the Project Manager, you will maintain management of the entire customer order realisation. Implementation of agreed customer requirements. Creation of a problem-free zone for the customer by assuming the responsibility and thinking outside the box. The goal is to maximize the profit made on orders through an effective, professional, and economical implementation of the customer's requirements and the Sales department's specifications (Key Account Management and Applications Engineering) with respect to performance, schedule, and costs.

What you’ll be handling

  • Assume responsibility regarding performance, schedule, technology, safety and cost of all orders which are permanently or temporarily assigned. 
  • Takeover of orders from SALES.
  • Schedule order planning, site planning, and monitor progress.
  • Coordinate with customers and suppliers regarding additional or reduced expenses.
  • Responsible for being the primary contact for communication within the project for both internally and externally.
  • Handover to Lifetime Services, support regarding warranty issues.

What you’ll need

  • Previous Project Management experience.
  • Reliability, cost consciousness, flexibility and customer orientation.
  • Result orientation and organizational skills.
  • Good command of Business English or the customer's native language
  • Logistics/controls know-how.
  • Knowledge of workflows within the realization process and related processes.
