Software Project Manager

The Software Project Manager will work closely with both the Software department and the General Project Manager to deliver a successful implementation of our software to our customer.

What you’ll be handling

  • Manage the successful delivery of integrated software systems into complex automated material handling systems.
  • Maintain an active role in client relationship and sales opportunities.
  • Interpret and communicate complex technical and commercial issues with customer.
  • Develop specification documents, including functional specifications, interface specifications, network infrastructure requirements and specifications.
  • Work with system integration team to define the interface points between subsystems.
  • Lead onsite installation, commissioning and training.

What you’ll need

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
  • 3+ years of software project management/leadership experience or relevant experience
  • Familiarity with Microsoft .NET Platform and/or Java
  • Microsoft Team Foundation Server - Version Control, work item management 
  • Understanding of Windows Server Environments with VM Ware
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including international
