Test Engineer

We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our agile project team, supporting the implementation and testing of WCS software against business and technical requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL BE HANDLING

Test Design and Execution: Design and execute test cases, perform manual and commissioning tests on-site, and lead Factory Acceptance Testing with customers
Defect Management: Identify, log, and track defects in Jira, working closely with developers to ensure resolution
Technical Expertise: Utilise SQL and XML to support testing, troubleshooting, and configuration for automated testing
Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings and assist the Test Manager in tracking and reporting test progress using TestRail
Software Deployment: Install and update WCS and supporting software on test environments and production servers using Azure DevOps
Documentation and Training: Document testing processes, and best practices, and train customers while supporting customer testing activities

What you'll need

Technical Skills: Familiarity with tools like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Jira, and TestRail; basic/intermediate SQL; and understanding of XML
Testing Expertise: Experience in manual software testing and leading project-level testing efforts, with ISEB/ISTQB certification (preferred)
Communication and Customer Interaction: Strong written and oral communication skills, experience presenting to customers, and ability to work collaboratively
Adaptability and Time Management: Proven ability to meet tight deadlines, work on own initiative, and perform exploratory testing
Mobility: Willingness to travel within Europe with a full driving license
Additional Knowledge: Understanding of the software development lifecycle (Agile), Microsoft Office proficiency, and logistics/warehouse industry experience (preferred)
